Amy L. Williams, Divorce Coach
Hello. I am Amy L. Williams, a Divorce Coach and an Alternative Dispute Resolution-qualified neutral mediator under Minnesota State Rule 114. My divorce is what brought me to the field of Divorce Coaching. Like many, my divorce took a long time to settle. It was emotionally and financially draining. Through the process, I had regular interactions with a therapist; it soothed my anxieties, but I wasn’t moving forward. Decisions were hard to make, and I often felt alone. I needed more help and turned to two professionals for support. One is a life coach, and the second is a financial advisor. Together, these two helped me move forward with actionable steps.
My background is in architecture. My experience spans design and business operations. A building design outlines a road map to construct a building; the support I received from my support professionals helped me develop a life roadmap to follow. Like a well-designed building, the hard work gave me a solid foundation and actionable steps to reach my goals. The experience made me realize that many others like me also needed help. I wanted to share my knowledge and help others, so I found the Divorce Coaching profession. I am grateful to have received training through the IAP Career College and completed the certificate program as a Divorce Coach. This program for divorce coaching enhanced my gifts for emotional and financial stability with a greater understanding of the divorce process and tools to help individuals in all phases, from mediation preparation and negotiation to co-parenting to life post-divorce. We all have our path; your life is yours, and you can make it great. I am here to support you. As a divorce coach, I am thrilled to make a difference to help others to forge their path in life.
